Best Antiques Shop in the Finger Lakes

The history of the life in the Finger Lakes goes back many years. As a result the region is quite rich in antiques and collectibles from long ago. Many of the roads in the Finger Lakes are dotted with antique stores and collectibles shops. Here the region's best innkeeper's share their recommendations for the best antique shop in the Finger Lakes.

Bloomfield Antique Mile

The best antiques can be found at the Bloomfield Antique Mile which incorporates several antique shops within a mile of each other. Many of our guests have found wonderful treasures to take home with them. Prices seem fair and the selections are large. Located in Bloomfield, on Rt. 5&20. ~ Robin & Michael Grentus Owners/Innkeepers - A Wolfpack Bed 'n Breakfast

When my guests are interested in finding a good antique shop, I recommend the stretch on Routes 5&20 between Canandaigua and Avon rather than recommend a specific shop. On that stretch, travelers can find a "trail" of antique shops that rivals any of the wonderful Finger Lakes wine trails. It makes for a great day trip where visitors can stop at whichever places pique their interest. They always return with great treasures. ~ Donna - Yale Manor Bed and Breakfast

Nino's Antiques -   You walk into an old fashioned country store atmosphere to buy, sell or search for treasures and special finds of antique furniture, jewelry, books, glassware, frames and collectibles.   Nino's Antiques is open year round Thursday through Saturday 11AM until 4PM and Sundays 12 Noon until 4PM.  Or by appointment just by calling (585) 526-6800.   Located for over the past 30 years at 2625 Main Street (Rte 245) in Gorham, between Canandaigua Lake and Seneca Lake (and North of Keuka Lake).  ~ Nancy & Al - Gorham House Bed & Breakfast

The Ithaca Antique Mall - This "mall" is a lot more than a shop, but it has an incredible collection of antiques of all sizes. They also manage to get a list of everything in their shop on their web site so you can search from the comfort of your chair. However that never really compares to actually going there and walking around. Located between Ithaca and Trumansburg on Rt 96. ~ Steve and Kathy Wirt - Wine Country Cabins B&B

Country Reflections Antiques and Gifts - Is the best antique shop in the Finger Lakes. There you'll find an eclectic collection of country antiques and collectibles. The owner, Carol, sure gets my vote for the friendliest antique shop owner in the Finger Lakes! Located on 83 Cayuga St. in Seneca Falls at the Northern end of Cayuga Lake. ~ Judith - Barrister's Bed and Breakfast

The Carriage Factory Antiques - is an interesting place to visit. It's fun to poke around their 3 floors of old "stuff" to see what treasures you can find and I always find a few must have items. Located on Rt. 5&20 in Flint, between Canandaigua and Geneva. ~ Glenda Nash - Gentle Giants B&B

Ontario Mall Antiques - It is huge. There is an enormous variety, and it is clean, well lit. It is a co-op, and the people that are working there have been very nice and helpful. Once Susan started shopping there they were able to add a whole new wing to the mall. ;-) Located on Rt 332 in Farmington (North of Canandaigua). ~ Burney and Susan Baron - Los Gatos Bed & Breakfast

Bloomfield Antique Market - is my favorite antique shop in the area. They have the largest selection of furniture. It's easy to get around in the large warehouse and the items are displayed nicely. I'm always stopping in to see what's new. It's a great antique shop to while away a little time. ~ Sheryl Mordini - 1795 Acorn Inn
